In the digital age forums and blogs are quickly becoming the new "newsletter." While not intended to replace the official publication of the Mid South region, "The Steering Column," this blog will be used as an unofficial way to get immediate information to our membership.
Many of our members contribute to and read local, regional and national web-based forums. I would appreciate any local information from them to be passed on to me so it can be included here.
I plan to blog here as needed - at least weekly, and at times daily. I will be blogging daily from the SCCA national and regional conventions. I will also have a Twitter account to send any immediate reports from the national and regional conventions that affect the MSR. More on that later.....
The options are endless on what can be included here - quick results, photos, and videos from club racing, autox, and rallyx events, and any other SCCA events. Use those "smart phones!" I'd love to have your race photo posted before you made it home.
I am in the midst of changing my ISP so for the next month do not use my bellsouth.net address. Also please send a duplicate of any information to mmdeming@me.com
